Import Export TV's goal was to bring global trade and supply chain news and entertainment to an audience on the move. As a media company, IETV produces hundreds of videos and streams monthly for industry supply chain experts across the globe. IETV needed a way they could get their videos to their global audience, even when they couldn't get to a computer.
The obvious solution was to create a purpose-designed app, built from the ground up to provide instant access to videos, livestreams, events, offers, promotions, and more. The app was designed based on the way their audience uses their systems currently. We had moved their video hosting to YouTube, but we needed a way to incentivise use of the app. By making the app easier to navigate, adding background playback, and including various offers for joining the app, we created a hub for all things IETV.

With the new app, IETV has been able to expand their offerings and bring educational content directly to their audience across the globe. Users are able to quickly sign up and gain access to all of IETV’s content, as well as special offers and information available exclusively for users of the app. With full prototyping and custom app development, we were able to create a sturdy framework for their content that will continue to support IETV’s activities and growth well into the future.
