Melbourne Connect is a hub of innovation, creativity, and collaboration, connecting experts across various fields to share data and work on some of society's most pressing challenges. So it goes without saying that they needed a website to facilitate all of this! That's where Xugar came in to help.
A project with a vision demanded a website with the functionality to support it. The Melbourne Connect team needed to be able to publish articles and edit content on the fly, as well as list events, create new pages, and more. To make this happen, we built a completely custom WordPress build from the ground up. The internal interface is designed to be and use, ensuring every member of the team could pick up and use it.
Additionally, with a lot of sensitive information flowing through the site, it needed to be secure. We integrated the website’s security with Akamai, a world leader in cyber-security.
